Frequently
asked questions
Do your macaroons include nuts and dairy products?
Our cakes are made with ground almonds (nuts) and dairy products including free
range eggs.
Serving
macaroons
Macaroons taste their best at room temperature- the buttercream
is soft, the ganache is creamy, and the meringues are nice and chewy! If you're
serving your macarons today, just keep them at room temperature.
Are macaroons suitable for people with gluten and dairy intollerance?
Macaroons are a gorgeous treat for any one wanting to avoid gluten as they are
gluten free. Please note our macaroons do contain eggs and nuts (ground almonds)
and some fillings contain dairy. For anyone wanting to avoid dairy we are very
happy to make the fillings dairy free - please check with us before ordering
so we can confirm the best flavours for this.
How
long do your macaroons keep for?
Macaroons
will keep well for approximately 4 days after purchase, but a little care
is needed; place your box of macarons in an airtight container (sealed plastic
bag or tub) as this will avoid contamination with other products, and keep
them in the refrigerator. Take them out at least half hour before serving
and allow the macaroons to come to room temperature.
Weddings and parties
We
can produce macaroons for celebartions and events. If you have a colour theme
in mind we try to match colours as close as possible.
Do
you pass on our details?
We respect your privacy and do not pass your details onto 3rd parties.
